Hillside Boutique Hotel

Beautiful complex, but my room had no telephone, no alarm clock. Had to walk to office to get ice. My TV had no sound, worker tried to fix it, no luck. Person paying for my room opted not to ask for money off cost of room. Entry way light burned out. A member of my group found a scorpion in her bed. I was on bottom floor, recommend second floor. Lady above me kept clicking clicking her heels as she walked across room. My room had a view of a junkyard, ugh. Wanted to take pictures of the beautiful country side from my balcony, junk yard ruined my efforts. Other than that, a beautiful complex.

The drive here was so easy from downtown San Antonio. It took me less time to get here from my house than it would have to get to La Cantera or The Rim. Once I pulled up to this quiet oasis, I was absolutely floored by the 180 degree views and amazing service. The front desk agent was bright and helpful, and the restaurant was impeccable. I went in for the heat bites and a shrimp and grits, but I stayed for the service! The GM came by and spoke to us, too- what a wonderful human. They recently did a renovation and everything was floor to ceiling beautiful. I loved sitting on the back porch with a glass of champagne. I can’t wait to go back and enjoy the pool. My only disappointment was that I didn’t have longer to stay and enjoy the space more. 12/10 will be back!

Not very often something with such value to an area gets updated and they keep the character and ambiance of the past while adding too it. Hillside Boutique Hotel is your go to Christmas party, wedding venue or just simply romantic escape. While located in Castroville the Allsation flavor of history is rich and unique change of flavors rich in its own heritage. Highly reccomend if your passing through to stop and rest a while.

We had our Welcome dinner for our wedding at Hillside boutique Hotel and Stayed in their Luxury Suite Room for the weekend. Planning, details, customer service were all amazing. The food was incredible as well. Cristina and Rebecca really went above and beyond to make sure that every detail was perfect. We will definitely be returning in the future for wedding anniversaries to come!

My family and I had a Veterans Day dinner at La Colline and it was outstanding! The cuisine was supreme along with the staff Misty and Bella who were professional and courteous. I recommend everyone have a dining experience like we did. AWESOME!

Rooms were gorgeous! Everyone was so nice. Location was great to my home. My compliment would be no handicap parking and all they have is steps to the rooms. My father is 83yrs old and his balance is not good, and he almost fell twice. 1st room they gave them for 2 days was great even the shower was great, but when they came back 3 days later they gave them a room with a high step in shower/bathtub in which they could not take a shower or bath. My 81 yr old mother had to get another room. This next room was good, just smaller than what they paid for, it was wheel chair execessable but not wheel chair friendly outside. I don't recommend if handicapped, but otherwise this place is beautiful inside and out!

Very comfortable room, large and cozy. Have stayed 2 times and will most certainly be back. Great food at the restaurant on site La Colline, great staff and friendly service.

I work with a local dealership here in Castroville. We recently had out 2026 Kick Off Breakfast at the Hillside Boutique. I would rate our experience, the food, and the staff all 10/10. The event coordinator was on top of everything. We will continue to use them in the future.
